Apple Cake with Sour Cream
A fragrant apple cake made from a simple batter with chopped walnuts. Coarsely grated apples are baked right on top, and while the cake is still hot it is spread with a mixture of sour cream, plain yogurt and vanilla sugar. A dusting of cinnamon finishes it off, and once cooled you simply slice and serve.
