Celeriac patties are a great vegetable alternative to a favourite lunch or dinner. They are quick to prepare and take about half an hour. Simply grate the celeriac, mix it with the other ingredients and shape small patties. You can either fry them or bake them in the oven.
Peel the celeriac and grate it finely. Grate the cheese coarsely and chop the parsley finely. Put everything in a large bowl, add the eggs, oats, flour, marjoram, salt and pepper, and mix well. The mixture will be sticky but workable. If it is too runny, add a tablespoon of flour.
With damp hands, shape thicker patties and place them on a plate. Grease a frying pan or pancake pan with oil and fry the patties on both sides until golden, about 2 minutes per side.
