These easy Parisian slices delight with the aroma of rum and cocoa. We found inspiration in the famous Parisian cake, but our version is simple to make. The base, Parisian whipped cream and Margot bar topping come together in a delicious dessert.
Prepare the cream a day ahead – bring the ingredients for the Parisian whipped cream to the boil and leave to cool in the fridge until the next day.
Whisk the base ingredients with an electric mixer and pour the batter onto a deep baking tray greased with oil and dusted with coconut.
Place the batter in a preheated oven, bake and leave to cool.
Drizzle the cooled base with rum and spread with tangy jam.
Whisk the Parisian whipped cream and spread it over the base.
To decorate, sprinkle the slices with grated Margot bar.
