Seafood Crostini

Crostini are popular Italian canapés that taste fantastic and are surprisingly easy to make. In this recipe you will top crisp toasted bread with a creamy mixture of vegetables and seafood. You will learn how to briefly fry the seafood and season it with lemon and fresh herbs. All that is left is a little patience and imagination for the finishing touches.

Method

Finely chop two cloves of garlic and the deseeded chilli, then fry them in a hot pan with oil. Add the washed and dried seafood, season with salt and pepper and fry briefly. Drizzle the cooked seafood with lemon juice and leave it to cool at room temperature first, then put it in the fridge.

Finely chop the celery and onion and transfer them to a bowl.

Add the mustard, cream, mayonnaise, finely chopped herbs, salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly and finally stir in the cooled seafood.

Fry slices of bread in a hot pan with oil on both sides.

05.

Lightly rub the crisp bread with garlic and spoon the seafood mixture on top. Garnish with lamb's lettuce leaves.
