Zemplínske plnené placky are a quick meatless dish made from a simple dough of plain flour, acidophilus milk and baking soda. Inside is a hearty filling of soft quark, grated cheese and garlic, rounded off with fresh green leaves. The flatbreads are fried in a pan on both sides and served with sour milk or kefir.
