A delicate chocolate mousse that melts in the mouth. All you need is a handful of ingredients, a bain-marie and a little patience when whisking the egg whites. A great no-bake dessert that even a beginner can manage.
Break the dark chocolate into pieces. Crack the eggs and separate the yolks from the whites. Whisk the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form.
First melt the chocolate in a bain-marie, adding the butter gradually. Then, off the heat, whisk in the egg yolks. Leave the chocolate mixture to cool.
Finally, fold the whisked egg whites into the chocolate mixture and leave the chocolate mousse to chill.
Divide the dark chocolate mousse between small bowls or glasses and serve as a dessert. Decorate the mousse with fruit, fresh mint and so on.
