Quick Plum, Poppy Seed and Crumble Cake
This plum and poppy seed cake with a crumbly topping is one of the quickest autumn bakes. The batter is mixed with a wooden spoon, poured onto the tray and ready in no time. Sliced plums tossed with cinnamon sugar go on top of the poppy seed layer, and everything is covered with a crumble made from butter, sugar and flour. Baking takes about half an hour and the result is a fragrant cake for the whole family.
