Ingredients: 2 sheets puff pastry; 150 g breadcrumbs; 1 tbsp butter; 100 g cane sugar; ground cinnamon; 300 g frozen strawberries; 300 g cooked white asparagus; 100 kg cooked green asparagus; 100 kg cooked green asparagus; egg (size M), for brushing; vanilla, strawberry or nut ice cream; icing sugar, for dusting; fresh strawberries, for decoration; 80 g butter; 160 g coarse flour; 160 g cane sugar; 1 tsp ground cinnamon; salt, as needed; fresh lemon balm, as needed

Asparagus and Strawberry Strudel

You may know strawberries with rhubarb, but have you tried strawberries with asparagus? Chef Roman Paulus has created an unusual dessert – a strudel with strawberries and asparagus. It may sound strange, but the combination is delicious, and you can use either green or white asparagus, whichever you have at home. You don't even need fresh strawberries; the strudel is easier to make and juicier when baked with frozen strawberries, and all that's left is to dust it with icing sugar and enjoy.
