Baked pasta with ham, cream and cheese is a filling dish that is on the table in 70 minutes. Cook the pasta until al dente and drain it straight away so it does not turn soft. A plain colander works better than a lid here, making the draining quick and fuss-free.
Cook the pasta in salted water in the usual way. Cut the ham into small cubes and grate the cheese coarsely.
Whisk the eggs into the cream and season the mixture with salt. Grease the baking dish with butter.
Mix the cooked pasta with the ham and cheese, spread it evenly in the prepared baking dish, cover with a lid and place in an oven preheated to 200 °C.
After 15–20 minutes of baking, pour over the cream and egg mixture and bake uncovered until done.
