Baked Salmon with Dill and Honey-Mustard Sauce

Baked salmon fillets with dill and lemon are served with a smooth honey-mustard sauce flavoured with garlic. Butter, stock and a spoonful of plain flour bring the sauce together. Serve with boiled potatoes for a simple, satisfying meal.

Method

Season the salmon portions with salt and pepper, drizzle with lemon and sprinkle with dill.

Top with butter, place in an oven preheated to 250 °C and bake for 10–15 minutes, depending on the size and thickness of the fillets.

Meanwhile, boil the potatoes for the side dish and melt a heaped tablespoon of butter in a pan.

Fry the pressed garlic in the butter (you can chop half the cloves), let it release its aroma for 1–2 minutes and sprinkle with a heaped tablespoon of plain flour.

Stir, fry briefly and pour in the stock, about 200 ml.

06.

Add the honey, mustard and soy sauce and simmer for 10–15 minutes, stirring or whisking constantly, until smooth.
