Never enough ideas for party food? These sliders from chef Roman Paulus are a sure winner – buns baked with a generous layer of ham and cheese and brushed with a buttery topping of garlic, poppy seeds and mustard. You can make them as one large loaf and cut it only after baking, or bake them as small individual sliders. The filling is easy to swap too – Emmental works beautifully, but so do gouda, cheddar or even blue cheese.
