Tarhoňa is a pasta speciality of Slovak and Hungarian cuisine that works both as a side dish and as a main meal. Shop-bought tarhoňa resembles grains of round rice, but at home it is made from grated noodle dough. In this recipe we combine it with fried bacon, leek, garlic and a creamy egg mixture with cheese.
