Karlovarský Knedlík with Cooked Millet (Czech Bread Dumpling)

Dumplings are a classic of Czech cuisine and are also popular in Slovakia, Austria and Germany. They go beautifully with roast meat and cabbage, with sauces or with goulash. In this recipe we prepare a slightly different version of Karlovarský knedlík – besides bread, eggs and milk it also contains cooked millet, and you can add your favourite herbs or smoked meat. It is easy and quick, and you will manage it with ease.
