Chicken cutlets are layered in a roasting tin with mushrooms, smoked bacon, onion and mature cheese. Everything is poured over with chicken stock, seasoned with grill seasoning and sweet paprika, and baked in the oven. The meat stays beautifully tender and juicy thanks to the sauce, and it goes perfectly with potato salad or mashed potatoes.
Cut the chicken cutlets into slices, season lightly with salt and sprinkle with grill seasoning.
Drain the mushrooms. Cut the bacon, grate the cheese, and peel and slice the onion into rings.
Place the cutlets in a roasting tin and pile the mushrooms, bacon, onion and grated cheese on top.
Sprinkle everything with sweet paprika and pour over the stock so that it reaches the level of the meat.
Cover the roasting tin with foil and place it in an oven preheated to 200 °C.
After about 15 minutes, carefully remove the foil, and if the meat is already tender, leave it uncovered to bake for another 15 minutes.
Finally, turn on the grill for a moment and brown the top cheese layer. There is plenty of sauce in the tin, so the meat stays beautifully juicy.
