Meatloaf with smooth mashed potatoes is one of the best-loved Czech dishes. Smaller children often refuse a slice of meatloaf, but when you shape the same mixture into little patties or balls, they eat it without a word. You can also mix plenty of good things into the mince – this time we added oat flakes. Feel free to try grated carrot or courgette too, as they make the meatloaf juicier – but everything in moderation!
