Quick recipes are always the most popular, and these spaghetti with tuna and basil pesto prove it. All you have to do is cook the pasta and, in the meantime, fry a tuna steak cut into small pieces in olive oil. Then simply stir in the basil pesto, chopped sun-dried tomatoes and, to finish, a little grated parmesan if you fancy it.
Cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water, stirring occasionally.
Cut the steak into smaller pieces, season with salt and pepper, add a little chilli if you like, and fry briefly in a pan with hot olive oil. Add the cooked spaghetti to the pan together with a little water and flavour with the basil pesto.
Finally add the chopped sun-dried tomatoes and toss everything together in the pan a few times.
Serve in a deep plate, sprinkled with grated parmesan and freshly ground pepper, and garnish with a basil leaf.
